Paddington Bear head back home to Peru?

Paddington himself was born in Peru and came to London because his Aunt could no longer take care of him due to her old age.

On the 13th October 1958 Paddington Bear was thrown upon the world and the Brown family. The Bear was created by Michael Bond who based him on a bear he bought for his wife from Paddington Station. This is obviously the reason in which he was named and it is no different at all for the book. The note which was attached to Paddington when he was found by the Brown family is actually Bond’s way of showing how he remembered evacuees in World War two.

Before the train stowaway he had managed to get onto a life boat where his only meals came from a tin of marmalade. Paddington really does love marmalade sandwiches and is his favourite food in the world.

He rarely gets angry with someone but when he does he tends to give them a “hard stare” because this will make the person embarrassed and feel all flushed.

Paddington went on to become a worldwide success with thousands of the books sold. A paddington film is actually on the way involving real actors but of course no one can forget the original Paddington series right. If anyone remembers the movie Scooby Doo with the live action cast then this is what the Paddington film is going to be like?

Paddington has also featured in Marmite adverts where his love for marmalade sandwiches is changed to Marmite.

Peru which of course is where he is from is actually a really nice place to visit on holiday and is a lot better than the busy London streets and going on one of those Galapagos Cruise could be something for you.

When going on a Galapagos holiday you could even have the chance to spot a real life Paddington as he is based on the spectacled bear that lives there. Of course self drive holidays are also an option when travelling to Peru.
