The Winter Olympic Games

2007′s Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games was an undoubted success; it sold amazingly well for the last Olympics and now the 2009 winter Olympics will feature another instalment from the same people who built the last one.

Really, the game is just another version of what has been out before. It is just like the many button bashing games that have been featuring over the last 10 years but instead of seeing Sonic, Mario and Bowser dressed up in gloves, scarves and womens jackets the actual game itself does consist of way more possibilites than ever before as the game is compatible with the new wii fit board so you can re-enact movement on the screen. This is pretty old hat technology for us really but the game itself has never seen this before which is why game critics from across the board are having a field day over it. What’s more is that the updated winter Olympics events seem to support more imaginative control systems (particularly on the Wii) and this time there is support for the wii balance board in the single player mode. This is brilliant news for many people who would love to get a bit fitter these days and get as much excercise as she/he can.

The is loads of stuff left in the locker room from sonic and mario and I dont believe we have seen the last of these guys just yet. I remember in the late 1990′s when the original Sonic game came out on the Mega Drive and it was the best thing to hit the streets. We will now be able to see a completely revised version of what came out before in years past and I cannot wait to see what the end goal is. We will now be able to see a completely revised edition of what came out before hand and I cannot wait to see what the end product is going to be like!
